At the start of Wotlk, RR had merged with a total of 3 guilds just to stay in the "top" of raiding. It's kinda sad really, but back then everything counted in the race for purples :lol:
Fun thing was that I was the best geared hunter in our guild, and when we got to the final few months before TBC released. Then I were asked if I wanted to join redrum, they were so hated for using just that way of grabbing raiders. I refused of course, didn't belong with a bunch like the RR people. Nor did I belong with my own guild. But hey, we had a total of 3 endgame PvE guilds to pick from 6months after the server start :P

All I wanted to be was being together with the best :roll: Happy that I for once found just that guild *cough* legion now! ;)
